POP - ROCK Guitar Program (beginner method):
Students will enjoy its easy-to-follow format that gives them a solid music education while letting them play songs right away. Book 1 provides beginning instruction including tuning, 1st position melody playing, C, G, G7, D7, and Em chords, rhythms through eighth notes, solos and ensembles and strumming. Features a chord chart, and traditional songs like: Amazing Grace • Greensleeves • and When the Saints Go Marching In.

This course is designed to get you playing your guitar quickly in a relaxed half - hour weekly class. Over the course ofthis ten week program you will learn to play great songs by such artists as The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, Van Morrison,Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, Bob Marley , Guns 'n' Roses and many others with confidence.. You'll learn fundamental habits of good guitar playing, basic chords, strums and achieve a good foundation on which to build upon for further study in all styles of guitar. Absolutely no prior musical experience is needed. As well, no note reading is required. All materials are provided and you can even use our guitars in your class if you'd like.
